This amazing performance captured by German Television's premier rock show production team has rarely been seen until now. Formed in 1969 by the guitarist Leslie West and bassist/producer Felix Pappalardi, Mountain became one of the highest grossing rock acts on the music scene between the years 1969 and 1972. Sadly, Pappalardi died in 1983. In 1985 the band reformed and were asked to play on the Deep Purple European tour. This DVD was filmed in front of a massive and hugely enthusiastic audience delighted by the band playing a set consisting of their finest moments - including Nantucket Sleighride, Never In My Life, Mississippi Queen and Theme For An Imaginary Western.

This 35th anniversary show, filmed on June 11, 2005 in front of a sell-out audience, celebrated the recording of the landmark album "Phaedra". The band, consisting of Thorsten Quaeschning, Linda Spa, Jerome Froese and Iris Camaa, played a multitude of songs from their lengthy career including Phaedra 2005, Rubycon Pt.1, Force Majeure, Logos and a cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic Purple Haze. Tangerine Dream's impressive live reputation dates back to the early 70's... Their multi-media concerts were completely improvised. This DVD is no exception.

This film was made in 1979 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the moon landing. NASA and The United States National Archive released all of this footage for the very first time including unseen film of the lunar landscape, life on the spacecraft, Mars, Venus and beyond. Included are the conversations between the astronauts and ground control in Houston. The films soundtrack was written, arranged and performed by MIKE OLDFIELD. He used extracts from his ground-breaking symphonic tone-poems such as Tubular Bells and Hergest Ridge and wound these in and out of the NASA soundtracks together with new music. The result is a unique soundtrack for a unique film.
