ALL ABOUT ANNA Star & FHM Covergirl GRY BAY's Fine Face & Physique Are EVERYWHERE!

SANTA FE NM / COPENHAGEN DK - (APRIL 28, 2006 DMPR) - ALL ABOUT ANNA, the controversial English-language European mainstream hit with hardcore sex scenes that recently rivaled HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE on Denmark's DVD sales charts, is receiving an additional promotional push as its luminous star & FHM Covergirl GRY BAY begins a weekend of new, high-profile motion picture and newspaper appearances.

First up is Preben Lorentzen's GRONNE HJERTER, starring Laura Bach and co-starring Gry as Asia, which opened today in theaters across Northern Europe. The provocative comedy's advance reviews have been slightly mixed, but on one's been shy in celebrating Ms. Bay's gorgeous face and frame as the most appealing aspects of the film.

No stranger to the European tabloids, this enterprising actress also promoted the movie's premiere this morning with a cover appearance in Copenhagen's METRO XPRESS newspaper. In addition to gracing the cover of FHM, Gry has also appeared on FHM Denmark's 100 Sexiest Women In The World list for two years in a row, as well as modeled extensively for the internationally renowned fashion magazine M.

And thanks to ALL ABOUT ANNA, this delightful Dane's star continues to rise internationally, as the film is still performing phenomenally well across Europe. Co-produced by Innocent Pictures and Zentropa Productions, ALL ABOUT ANNA is the compelling erotic comedy about a lonely young woman's search for love that both charms and shocks audiences thanks to its heady mixture of insightful humor and fully explicit sex scenes. ALL ABOUT ANNA's American EPK can be accessed immediately by going to www.myspace.com/allaboutannathemovie.

While in the same genre as THE DEVIL IN THE FLESH and THE BROWN BUNNY, ALL ABOUT ANNA is the first sexually explicit mainstream film to respect its audience enough to give them a happy ending.

ALL ABOUT ANNA is currently seeking U.S. distribution, and Interested mainstream distributors are encouraged to contact Brad Willis of INDIGO DELTA PRODUCTIONS INC. at (505) 992-0725.

Get in on the excitement today, for as audiences, readers, and distributors the world over are already learning, there's nothing quite as reliable as Gry's anatomy to guarantee a sensual viewing experience and box office gold!

Spirited Frontwoman Brings Her Soulful Sound To The FSCOTT GALLERY

BOSTON / SUDBURY, MA - (APRIL 27 2006 DMPR) - A calm Spring evening in suburban Massachusetts. A bustling, high-profile venue called the FSCOTT GALLERY. A young singer whose introspective music moves the body, mind, and soul. An audience that can't get enough of her charismatic performance and beautiful original material...

This will be the scene this Friday, April 28th at 8:00 PM, as singer/songwriter/guitarist ELENA JAMES joins STEVE KRIGER for a rare solo performance at the FSCOTT GALLERY, 29 Hudson Road (The Village Green), Sudbury, MA 01776.

In one sense, this appearance marks a return to this gifted artist's original roots, as she began her career as a more acoustic-oriented singer/songwriter. Using high-priced session musicians, Elena had already recorded an album's worth of demos with producers/engineers Pablo Bencid (drummer for Victor Mendoza) and Daniel Saa, but after playing a handful of solo showcases, she knew her style (which ranges from delicate, finger-picking to heavy electric power chords) required a full band to bring such a versatile repertoire to the stage.

Enter bassist Eric Marian, drummer Katherine Tedeschi, and Ryan Logsdon, who, along with their titular frontwoman now comprise the ELENA JAMES BAND. As a collective, this young group's varied influences amount to a veritable who's who of rock history: Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley, Heart, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Depeche Mode, James Brown, and U2.

Channel these varied inspirations through intelligently written original material and the superior musicianship of the band's individual members, and the final result is a rich, thick and varied sound that manages to sound hauntingly familiar yet completely unique all at once. And while the band never loses sight of its dedication to primal rock & roll, it is never afraid to be a bit experimental, for Elena James is a woman of many ideas.

While she relishes the high energy of her band's live shows, Elena looks forward to this Friday's sonic change of pace at the Fscott Gallery, observing, "At acoustic shows we get the opportunity to test out newer songs on an intimate and captive audience.Ê Also, this show will allow us to reach fans of all ages, since most of our larger shows are at 18-21 and over venues."

The legendary home of musical acts as diverse as Aerosmith, Boston, Letters To Cleo, Juliana Hatfield, The Lemonheads, Morphine, Til Tuesday, Belly, Throwing Muses, Kristin Hersh, and Mary Lou Lord, the Boston scene continues to play an important role in the careers of artists to this day, helping to break such current favorites as Killswitch Engage, Ray LaMontagne, The Click 5, Dropkick Murphys, Akrobatik and most recently, platinum recording sensation James Blunt. With unmistakable talent and a burning desire to succeed, the Elena James Band is quickly outgrowing its humble New England origins.

So make sure you get to the Fscott Gallery early this Friday. For although no one can guess what may next emerge from this young lady, fans are always in agreement over one thing: whether performing solo sets or rocking with her band, Elena James never disappoints, and her songs, for all their power and immediate accessibility, demand to be played and heard LIVE.

The GAMA BOMB has been dropped!

Marshall law has been declared and it's "Survival Of The Fastest" as the Helltrucker thunders through the streets in search of innocent victims to splatter under his wheels and feed their dripping guts to legions of zombie followers.

The soundtrack to this macabre inferno has been written by northern irish SpeedThrash beerzerks GAMA BOMB and the playing of this CD in public has already been ruled a war crime under the Geneva conventions.

So order fast before the authorities take note and start hunting down the remaining copies to silence the Atomizer.

Founded in 1993, The Chicago Underground Film Festival (CUFF) is a year-round organization dedicated to the work of film and video makers with defiantly independent visions. Unlike many other "independent" film events our goal is not to imitate old guard, market-driven events such as Sundance but Instead to focus on the artistc, aesthetic and fun side of independent filmmaking. CUFF promotes works that dissent radically in form, content and technique from both the tired conventions of Hollywood and the increasingly stagnant IndieWood mainstream.

Two Indie gems from Indican Pictures

In the mood for a bawdy, surreal art-musical... with zombies?

Well, who isn´t?

Indican Pictures is putting out this hilarious gem called Gory Gory Hallelujah, that tells the tale of four actors competing for the role of Jesus - a black revolutionary (Jeff Gilbert), a bisexual hippie (Tim Gouran), a Jew (Todd Licea), and a woman (Angie Louise).

When all four are rejected, they hit the road on bad-ass motorcycles, bound for glory in New York City. But when a run-in with a gang of Elvises ends in murder, they find themselves stranded in a little town called Jackville - where folk don't take kindly to blasphemers.

Taken prisoner, the Jesuses fall prey to an evil conspiracy that can only lead to the Apocalypse.

As the oppressed turn against each other and the undead rise, who will emerge as the true Jesus? Can zombies bring redemption, or just eat flesh?

Check it out at their Official Website!

On a more serious note (well...) we have Ari Kirschenbaum's Fabled, about a guy named Joseph Fable who just broke up with his girlfriend and is not taking it very well. He thinks she is plotting against him with their mutual psychiatrist.

But things only gets worse.

His dog is missing and he suspects that the people at work might be behind it. And there´s also the unshakable guilt over his past...

Through an allegorical "fable" that is told in parallel with Joseph's struggle, we are left to decide for ourselves who is the crow and who is the wolf. Was someone out to get Joseph, was it a stroke of bad luck, or was it all in his head?

Find out at Fabled's website.

Punk is not dead - it´s CHARGED!

Chaotic Alliance - A New Breed Of Terror

It’s 1984! Not really, but you would be saying that too after you heard Chaotic Alliance’s new album, A New Breed of Terror. This album will surely aid you in your fist-pumping frenzy to shredding guitar solos and vocals that will surely make your ears bleed. Along with the fact no one in the band is of drinking age, they have toured the US, ensuing a following across the country and have been featured on the latest Punx Unite Compilation on Side One Dummy/Charged Records. “Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, these kids are on the fast track to being one of the best punk bands in the U.S.” (FNS records/zine out of Boston, MA) This album is a must have if you adore bands like English Dogs, and Broken Bones.

The Abuse - Digging Your Own Grave

The Abuse are an angry bunch from Vacaville, California. The band has strong oi! roots in bands such as Blitz, The Ejected and Abrasive Wheels, but The Abuse are not just another UK82 carbon copy to roll your eyes at. The female vocals cut like a razor and pack a violent punch much more aggressive than any of the girls you may be used to hearing. No sing songy melodic vocals here! This is raw energetic music for true punks and skins.

Tunnels' NEW CD "Natural Selection" in stores May 18th

Tunnels went back in the studio last summer and concocted a few new recipes for a jazz-rock-fusion cookbook that will give a whole new meaning to the word "evolution".

Tunnels goes back to a trio format and comme up with the more "soniquely" advance project so far, featuring nine tunes all by the grand master of fretless, Percy Jones (from Brand X), and wiz midi vibist Marc Wagnom.

This recording stands out for its re-invention of the group musical vision. This is also the first recording featuring Tunnels new drummer John O'reilly Jr. strong and fluid style. Tunnels fifth release demonstrate that there is still a lot to discover on their musical journey.

MARY WEISS TO RECORD WITH THE REIGNING SOUND ON NORTON!

Norton Records is proud to announce the signing of Mary Weiss, lead singer of the Shangri-Las, to the Norton cavalcade of stars... Mary is set for a spring NYC recording date with THE REIGNING SOUND... Billy Miller and Greg Cartwright to produce ... Mary is selecting from a batch of great new comps from today's most talked-about songwriters including Greg Cartwright, John Felice, Andy Shernoff, Jackie DeShannon and others TBA... Mary's first album of new material since 1965... Mary is geared up for her return to the studio and STAGE... and so are we! Mary was fifteen years old when she and her sister Elizabeth (Betty) began singing with identical twins Margie and Mary Ann Ganser in their Cambria Heights neighborhood of Queens, New York, as students at Andrew Jackson High School. They soon came to the attention of George "Shadow" Morton and shot into the charts with massive hits on the Red bird label including Remember (Walking In The Sand), Leader Of The Pack, Give Him A Great Big Kiss, I Can Never Go Home Anymore, Give Us Your Blessings and Out In The Streets.

The Shangri-Las gave a voice to real teenagers, with Mary's explosive lead vocals delivering emotion packed melodramas that made them one of the most consistently exciting groups of the day. Get OVERLOADED!

Overloaded plays music the way it was meant to be played - raw, sexually charged, and in your face. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan Overloaded puts the hellfire back into heavy metal with the greasy screams of vocalist Chris Gillen, the old school guitar attack of ERiK Kluiber and John Sullens, and the neck snapping rhythms of bassist Michael Massie and drummer Lorenzo Gonzalez.

Formed in August of '04, Overloaded has taken Detroit by storm. WRIF proclaimed Overloaded one of the top four Detroit bands on their year end 2005 Motor City Riffs program. The band performed at Motley Crue's 2005/2006 Detroit New Year's Eve show at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Overloaded have also shared the stage with Alter Bridge, BobaFlex, Brand New Sin, Dirty Americans, Dope, Enuff Z Nuff, Fastback, Future Leaders of the World, LA Guns, Jani Lane, Kings X, Krokus, Mike Tramp's White Lion, Mushroomhead, Paradime, Peppermint Creeps, Skid Row, Slaughter, Slunt, Stephen Pearcy, Submersed, and Tuff.

Overloaded's single "Feeling Overloaded" was selected by the Scooter Trash International eXtreme Stunt Cycle team to be featured on their stunt dvd release "Streets of Chaos 3". Overloaded is officially endorsed by Jagermeister, Axis Drums, Ayotte Drums, and Ghs Strings.

"Hail the Kingdom", Overloaded's 7 song debut cd, was released in April of 2004. The cd was recorded at Midwest Studio and mastered by Tom Morris at Morrisound Studio. Hail the Kingdom is distributed by Perris Records, Else's Metal Mail Order, and Hellion Records. Hail the Kingdom has been received well by webzines and magazines world wide. Japan's Burrn! gave the debut an impressive 82/100. Martin Brandt of Germany's "Heavy" magazine was so enamored with "Hail the Kingdom", he got the single "Cyclone" placed on the magazine's bi-annual "Best Unsigned Bands" cd with a circulation of 30,000 copies. Frank Nailer from Maximum Metal webzine ranked Hail the Kingdom as the #1 independent release of 2005 in his year end awards column. Radio has responded well to the debut earning spins from Patrick de Sloover, host of Belgium's longest running metal show "Overdrive". In May of 2005, Radio host and Vh1 personality Eddie Trunk called Hail the Kingdom "the best submission he had been sent".

The band returned to Midwest studios July 9th and recorded a 4 song follow up ep entitled "Hellfire" officially released November 23, 2005. The single "Hellfire" was included on the Knuckle-Tracks compilation which was included with every issue of Canada's Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles #92.

Six levels of great music from Level Records

Oliver Hacke - Millepieds Remixe - LVL-06
Remixes by Slg, Fax, Daniel Fritschi, Anders Ilar and Jeff Milligan

Level Records’ first release, Quartett EP, opened up with “Millepieds” by Oliver Hacke. The sixth release on Level now sports five Artists who use their individual techniques and remix approaches on Hacke’s acclaimed track. On A1, Slg extracts an incredible funkyness from the original material that won’t leave anybody unmoved. Although its sounds are all based on the original, Slg’s approach is very different yet funky as hell and deep at the same time. People who already know his EP on Level might be reminded of his highly regarded „Anymore“-Track which features a similar kind of bassline.

A2 by the Mexican artist Fax is a very surprising remix. It starts off with very grounded groovy loops with a quite solid feel, sustaining in a traditional micro-house manner until unexpectedly, beautifullymodulated, dreamy chords emerge from the solid base groove. Surprises like this make many of Fax’ tracks so special.

Side B starts with labelhead Daniel Fritschi who creates a track which does only loosely refer to
his previous releases. Daniel picks up the slightly dark mood of the original, develops it to a nicely grounded sequence and garnishes it with a grooving bassline plus dubs.

Anders Ilars remix can be regarded as an appetizer for his forthcoming EP on Level. He builds up a dense and beautiful athmosphere which feels like wide spaces, populated by millions of gentle clicks, all kept together by the warm and dominant bassline of the Millepieds original.

The final track by Jeff Milligan is a more free interpretation of the original, focused on the dominant, beautiful warm chords, sparkling beats and hihats cutting sharp like scalpels.

Antonelli Electr. - Laziness EP - LVL-05

"Level Records has been something of an oasis in the occasionally dull desert of minimal Techno and, so far, has released nothing but quality 12"s. Antonelli Electr. provide the fifth installment and it's everything I'd hoped for. Deep, simple and incredibly effective grooves that are warm and stripped and ever-so-nice. I'd definitely recommend this. Class." (http://www.smallfish.co.uk/ - London)

"beautiful sounds soar through this new record for this kompakt based listening and club crossover label, level rec. dub techniques and widescreen sounds are clearly what electr is about. this track is so full of creamy sounds it will make you lick the speakers. a veritable slow burner that appears much slower than it really is, almost perfect for late smoky nights with people who dont want to move too far from the warmth the record creates. the overside reminds of titonton duvante's best work or fabrice ligs more laid back vibes on f communication. great percussion and palpably glowing synths keep this track warm and pleasing for contemporary dancefloors." (http://www.roughtrade.com/ - London)

Slg - Quarter Past Eleven EP - LVL-04

"Level Records has only put out 4 releases so far but they've been of such exceptionally high quality that I always eagerly await a new one. This doesn't disappoint at all and, in fact, could easily be my favourite 12" so far. The deepest of Techno grooves with subtle, shining chord sequences made up of gentle sinewave sounds plus funky, House influenced beats that have just enough shuffle to groove it whilst remaining true to their Techno roots. A wonderful ep for playing and listening to that will easily stand the test of time. Recommended." (http://www.smallfish.co.uk/ - London)

Fax -Bilateral EP - LVL-03

bleed •••••" (http://www.de-bug.de/ - Berlin)

"One thing Level is doing very right is in their graphic design. Each 12” thus far has been a stunning piece of art. The third release is the gem, thus far, depicting on its front cover what seems to be a confluence of electrical wires, a street lamp, and an unidentified solar flare. The music within is a sort of digital dub house—the music Pole might have made if he was more interested in dancefloors than hookahs. The melodies are slightly warmer than that comparison might imply, but the music is exactly as innocuous. You might be able to salvage something here for a mid-set track, but nothing here is singularly fascinating." [Todd Burns] (http://www.stylusmagazine.com/ - Allston/USA )

Daniel Fritschi - Intonation EP - LVL-02

bleed •••••" (http://www.de-bug.de/ - Berlin)

Steffen Bennemann (http://www.convulse.de/ - Leipzig)

Oliver Hacke, Andy Vaz, Rhythm_Maker, DanielFritschi - Quartett EP - LVL-01

"A promising debut release from this Dusseldorf label features four artists: Oliver Hacke, Andy Vaz, Rhythm_Maker and Daniel Fritschi. Hacke unleashes some dark funk to kick things off nicely, while Vaz weighs in with some of his signature dark atmospherics to very strong effect. The second side is a more laid-back affair with rhythm_maker’s acoustic bass and sweeping chords, tempered by Frischi’s very Dettinger-like closer. Keep on eye on Frischi, it’ll be easy with a forthcoming 12” on this very label. His woozy track is the gem here, amid some very good stuff. [Todd Burns] (http://www.stylusmagazine.com/ - Allston/USA)

Fein." bleed ••••• (http://www.de-bug.de/ - Berlin)

MAGIX AudioID

The more music you collect on your computer, the more difficult it is to make sure each song is organized with title, genre, artist, and album names. MAGIX AudioID’s automatic identification system makes this manageable. Instead of searching by only file name or keyword, MAGIX AudioID searches the complete file. MAGIX does this by using fingerprint technology from the Fraunhofer Institute (developer of the MP3 file format). MAGIX attaches missing information to individual music files at the touch of a button. It even cleans incomplete ID3 tags of whole music archives. Users can also easily identify unknown track names from Internet radio recordings and personal compilations.

Podcast and Webradio Recorder

MAGIX MP3 Maker 11 turns every PC into an Internet radio and Podcast recorder. The free MAGIX Podcast Service is integrated into the software. It helps you easily find podcasts on any topic, for example: stocks, Formula One, or even flirting tips, which can also be automatically downloaded, burned on disc or transferred onto your mobile player. Furthermore, you can easily submit your own, self made podcasts into the MAGIX Podcast Service for free.

MP3 Maker 11 makes searching for Internet radio extremely easy. Simply enter the name of the artist or song, and the program does the rest. Once you’ve found your selection, MAGIX MP3 Maker 11 downloads the audio files and saves them onto your hard drive. You can then download the files onto you mobile device with the click of the mouse.
